“QUICKEL’S PRAYER TEAM” meets in the Prayer Chapel.
WORSHIP SERVICE PRAYER GROUPS: If
you would like to be a part of this prayer ministry, please join us 10
minutes before either worship service in the Fellowship Hall!
THE PRAYER CHAIN:
We have 4 Prayer Chain groups
with 19 members. All members are welcome and encouraged to be part of
this prayer ministry. Please let us know if you would like us to add
your name to the prayer groups.
NEW “PRAYER CORNER” in
the Sunday bulletin announcement section. We ask you to pray daily,
each week, for a specific prayer request. Our prayers make Quickel’s
ministry to our members and the community alive and vibrant with the
boldness of Christ. Thank you for making Quickel a praying church!
“This is the confidence that
we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hear
us.” -1 John 5:14
PERSONAL PRAYER REQUESTS:
Cards are available in the pew if anyone wishes to request a personal
prayer for their family or themselves. Please Note: If you wish
to add that person’s name to the Sunday bulletin prayer list, please
indicate that on the card, otherwise, the Prayer Team will be
keeping the request confidential. To ensure confidentiality, please
drop the cards into the “Prayer Box” on the narthex table. All others
may feel free to use the offering plate.

| PIPES & PEDALS COMMITTEE
continues its "Pull
Tab Project" to
benefit the Organ Fund. Thanks to all who have contributed to this
project by saving and donating the pull tabs from aluminum cans, like
those found on soda (and beer) cans, bring them to with you on Sunday
morning and deposit in the collection containers in the Narthex or the
Fellowship Hall. We have several full boxes already. Everyone from the
youngest to the oldest member can help. Ask friends, family members and
co-workers (and anyone else you can think of) to save their pull
tabs for you to support our Organ Fund.
HINT:
Most pull tabs are aluminum
including those on cans of cat and dog food. If you are not sure a pull
tab is aluminum, take a magnet from your refrigerator and if the pull
tab does not stick to the magnet it is aluminum!
Fall Fundraisers include Pie, Cake
and Brownie Pan, Coffee/Tea, and Nut Sales. Pan orders are due October
4th. Other orders are due October 30, 2011.
Proceeds from these projects
benefit the maintenance and enhancement of the Church's Moeller Pipe
Organ.
